President and Co-Founder
Jason began his career in public accounting as a CPA with Deloitte specializing in various industries including real estate. Prior to founding Ballast Properties, Jason served more than 15 years as CFO of a private real estate investment company located in Minneapolis, MN. Here, Jason provided leadership in development, finance, construction, asset management and property management for a portfolio of commercial and residential projects in excess of $200 million in value across multiple assets classes. Jason has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of St. Thomas and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Minnesota.

With a profound passion for real estate and construction, as well as decades of hands-on experience, Jeffrey is the driving force behind the success of our construction and facilities management endeavors. After obtaining a degree in Construction Management from Minnesota State University-Mankato, Jeff honed his knowledge and skills in construction during his years working as a project manager and site superintendent for a St Paul based general contractor. Subsequently, Jeff expanded his expertise into real estate facilities management while serving 15+ years as the lead construction and facilities project manager for a Minnesota based real estate investment company. Jeffrey's commitment to excellence aligns seamlessly with Ballasts’ vision and guiding principles. From groundbreaking to completion, Jeffrey brings a level of craftsmanship that transforms visions into tangible realities.
